For the design of any educational scenario, there are usually operations that implement the orchestration of the design. This course proposes the use of a visual model called Orchestration Graph, where the vertices are learning activities, and the edges of the graph connect consecutive activities. Introduction to Conversational Interfaces is an IT & Computer Science offered by the UAL Creative Computing Institute, and Institute of Coding. Instructions are given in English for 2 hours weekly, for 2 weeks. This course is for anyone interested in new technology, with a focus on exploring conversational and voice-based interfaces and how audiences engage with them. Participants will need a device such as a laptop or tablet with access to the internet. Conversational interfaces refer to a system where a computer is able to reply instructions using natural language. This is very common with the advent of chatbots, and assistants such as Alexa and Siri. Explore conversational and voice-based interfaces; their development, as well as the consideration and challenges of the developers. Also gain skills that help in the effective and responsible design of these interfaces.
