Feuer International Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence (MPhil/PhD)
The Feuer International Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence (MPhil/PhD) is prestigious and highly competitive. The Scholarship, which is offered by University of Warwick on an annual basis offers three funding packages:
- Full MPhil/PhD tuition fees for 3 years (home/EU or overseas)
- Stipend at UKRI rate plus a top up of £2,000 per annum (£15,009 + £2,000 in 2019/20)
- Support for travel, equipment and research
The Feuer International Scholarship is open to everyone including international applicants. Outstanding PhD students are explicitly mentioned as well. In 2019 the scholarship attracted 200 applications. The deadline to apply for the Feuer International Scholarship is in March every year. Always check the official website for the latest information.
Queen Mary University in London
Queen Mary University in London offers many majors related to Artificial Intelligence. Our favorite is Machine Learning for Visual Data Analytics MSc because it offers hands-on experience and great carrier opportunities. When it comes to funding, you have several options: you can check available scholarships and bursaries, or you can look at the country-specific scholarships for international students.
Chevening scholarship is also available for programs at Queen Mary University. We like this scholarship because it’s really prestigious and because it covers tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, as well as air tickets.

Bold360 Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program
Bold360 is a leader in providing AI chatbots and human support, so it’s no wonder that they have announced this amazing scholarship. Their motivation is to increase access to education for everyone and also to support the future leaders of the AI industry. Applicants must be studying in the US, have a GPA of 3.0 or above and they must submit an essay on a pre-chose topic.
The total award for this scholarship is $6,000 ($5,000 for tuition and $1,000 for books). The winner is chosen based on the submitted essay.
LastPass STEM Scholarship Program
LastPass launched a program that aims to support students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) fields. A student who wins this scholarship will be awarded $10,000 for tuition and $2,000 for books. Apart from the requirement that a student must be majoring or planning to major in the STEM field, they also must be studying in the US and their GPA must be above a 3.0. Furthermore, applicants must submit an essay stating why they should win this scholarship.

DeepMind is providing a scholarship for MSc students in the Computer Science field. This scholarship is organized by Windsor Fellowship and University College London (UCL) for MSc students in the area of Computational Statistics and Machine Learning, Machine Learning, Robotics and Computation, Data Science and Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging, Information Security. This scholarship is intended for students who belong to at least one of the following groups: women, students of African or Caribbean heritage and students from homes with an annual income of less than £25,000. DeepMind scholarship is a great way for financing your studies at one of the world’s best research universities.
Intel® Edge AI Scholarship Program
Udacity offers a great number of free programs and tutorials in the area of AI. Here you can take a look at the available AI courses and filter out the free ones. We think that these courses should not be underestimated since they are taught by the industry leaders and they can at least help you boost your resume on the way to applying for a degree scholarship.
Furthermore, Udacity together with Intel offers Intel® Edge AI Scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at students who are interested in learning how to work with computer vision deep learning models. The first part of the scholarship contest includes an initial fundamentals course, during which the students will spend 2.5 months optimizing Deep Learning models. 750 top students from the initial stage of the competition will be awarded scholarships for the Intel® Edge AI for IoT Developers Nanodegree program. This program will introduce participants to the OpenVINO toolkit, which allows Python and C++ programmers to work with pre-trained deep learning models through an API. This program offers a real hands-on industry experience with cutting-edge technologies, which will be valuable for your future career.
Scholarships for studying in Sweden
The biggest number of available scholarships in the world is for PhD studies. This is especially true for Artificial Intelligence because this area is still developing and improving, so it strongly relies on scientific research. Finding a PhD scholarship is very easy in some countries because prospective students get a work contract and salary that covers living expenses.
